Of Cats and Terrariums

Subsi1
Last Saturday, my partner and I went to The Starling. My lahling wanted to buy mooncakes for family and friends.

We went directly to the Tai Thong kiosk because there was a 50% promotion for OCBC Bank card holders.

Since I was not interested in mooncakes, my eyes strayed elsewhere.

Subsi2

This kiosk, Leaves & Clays, was right opposite the Tai Thong kiosk.

Subsi3

I have a weakness for plants and any greenery.

Subsi4

This majestic bonsai caught my eye. This is some sort of Jasmine I think.

I took a peek at the price tag.

Subsi5

Whoa. RM13,999.00. Cannot. Cannot.

Subsi6

So I deflected my attention to these lovely terrariums.

Subsi7

I don’t see any price tag and I did not want to know anyway.

Subsi8

They are gorgeous but I know I won’t be able to manage the upkeep of these terrariums.

Before long, my lahling was done with the mooncakes and we left.

Subsi10

On Sunday morning, my two kiddos were outside.

Subsi11

I don’t know why they lined up in this formation. The night before, they gwai gwai stayed in for the night.

Subsi13

This is them at their hostel.

Subsi14

Girl was nicely settled in and didn’t kick up a fuss.

Subsi15

Belle Belle was at her favorite spot under the chair.

My partner knows I love cats. So these days when he sees a cat, he snaps a photo. This is a mama cat and her kitten under someone’s car.

Subsi17

But knowing my partner, his photos are mostly blur.

Subsi18

But this time, he managed pretty good shots. He asked me if I want to take the kitten if he saw it again hah..hah…

No lah.

Subsi12

These two already I kepala pusing. It would be very hard to cope with a kitten.

This was last night’s dinner – two beef burger patties topped with cheese, two sausages and a sirloin steak. All cooked in the air fryer.
